Keep Your Patients in Mind
In all the excitement, your patients can get lost in the shuffle. Support the Process

Find Someone Who Wants to Champion the Effort
There may be a lot of people on your staff who support the transition to electronic health records, but there should be at least one person who is your EHR’s biggest fan. This EHR champion will push your practice toward a quick and efficient transition. Ideal candidates have good leadership qualities and are somewhat tech savvy. However, the most important qualities they possess are the desire to learn the fundamentals of EHR and the ability to be proactive about completing the next step in the process.
Don’t Feel Like You Have to Rush
