A Blog from Chief Technology Officer Tom Wagner and Marla Kouche, Vice President, Strategic Program Office
During the week of June 4, 2012, a team of representatives from Care360, a Suite of Solutions from Quest Diagnostics, are traveling to Washington, D.C., to be part of Health Data and Innovation Week. During this important week, participants will gather from around the country to discuss the current state of healthcare in the U.S., with a common goal of making positive changes in the industry.
More than 1,200 influencers in government, business and Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) will convene to exchange ideas about data innovation in health. We are excited to be in attendance to review new application demonstrations and discuss how data can help identify issues and drive innovative solutions in the healthcare field.
Our Care360 team is particularly interested in attending sessions on the topic of consumer engagement using health data, and improving community health using local data. On Monday, June 4, we’ll attend the health camp un-conference and the walking gallery. Then on Tuesday and Wednesday, we will participate in the sold-out “Health Datapalooza.” If you will be in D.C. for these events, please send us a message on Twitter or post a comment here on our blog.
If you won’t be in town, we can still take you with us. We will tweet live from the @care360 handle. At the conclusion of the event, look for a recap blog post here.
See you in person or online.
