On July 10, 2012, we kick off our national campaign, “Decision 2012: A Health Records Debate”. This exciting campaign will visit 23 cities this summer, meeting with over a thousand physicians and medical providers to explore the debate between electronic versus paper based medical record systems.
During each event, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the challenges physicians face when it comes to storing patient information, witness a debate, and learn from their peers in a live panel discussion. Arguments from both the Paper Party, who support the traditional system of using paper based charts, and the Electronic Electorate, who support the movement to use electronic systems, will be heard.
Physicians who are not able to attend a live meeting are invited to observe the debate virtually by signing up for one of many web-based events.
